About Us

How It All Began

What began in the fall of 2005 as a dream of bringing together fresh, made from scratch "addictive" food that has a beer inspired/influenced and "gastro-pub" slant on cuisine together with a large selection of local "creative" handcrafted, exclusive and rare beers on tap - these two key components combined with a passionate team who cares about the product we serve and the community in which we operate our business - is today a reality at Tap House Grill. This dream of exceptional beer and delicious food became a reality on November 11, 2006 when the first Tap House Grill opened in St Charles, Illinois. and currently operates 9 restaurants in Illinois, including Westmont, Oswego, Plainfield, Lemont, St. Charles, Glen Ellyn, Des Plaines and Palatine. Additionally Tap House Grill has a licensed location in Highwood, Illinois. The Tap House Grill heritage "Addictive Food" and "Creative Brews" along with great times are now being served up fresh daily.
